Home - The Douglas Bay Horse Tramway
Started in 1876 by Thomas Lightfoot, the 3ft gauge horse tramway runs along Douglas Promenade, on the Isle of Man. Running from early April until early November, they are currently operated by Isle of Man Transport using a fleet of original tramcars and a team of 21 horses.
