Cauvery - Kaveri River in South India
Cauvery river, Dakshina Ganga or Kaveri, is a river that flows across the Deccan plateau in south India. Rising in the Western Ghats at at Talakaveri, it flows south-east through the south Indian states of Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, forming a fertile delta before flowing into the Bay of Bengal ocean.
