I know this is a bit low tech, but I painted kitchen counter tops with melamine paint and a sponge roller and they lasted for 10 years…..I did have to be careful about putting hot things on them , but for less than $50, it was a great solution! I found the primer sticks much better. It has excellent chemical and stain
